Character's history (minimum 150 words): Rose is the nineteen year old companion of the Ninth and Tenth Doctor in the newer seasons of the BBC's Doctor Who. Before her time spent traveling with the Doctor she was a shopgirl with a fairly normal, monotonous life that she longed to get away from. When she met the Doctor, Rose took the chance to travel away through time and space, to places and times she'd not only never been to before but had never thought possible to exist. Rose began to grow and change into a stronger person than she would ever have been able to be otherwise, and consequently left many parts of her old life behind in exchange for embracing her time with the Doctor. While she did fall in love with him, she was never really given the chance to admit that until it was too late. A heart wrenching and impossible set of circumstances drove them apart, and at the end of her time in the second season of Doctor Who, Rose found herself once again forced to start a new life in a place she never wanted to be in and had never expected to see.
Personality (minimum 150 words):
Rose is a strong willed girl with a personality that still holds a ghostly reminiscence of how she used to be. Before being taken from the Doctor she had a bright spirit and a love of life, and now she has become stronger, more adamant, and less willing to succumb to the wishes of anyone else. She is resilient and firm and capable of taking care of herself, no longer the blonde damsel that she was in the past. Her time with the Doctor showed her the potential that she had in herself and what she was capable of being, even when she herself did not know it was possible. She has matured not only in physical years but in her mind, and does not back down from any challenge that faces itself her way. She is fiercely loyal to those she loves, the select few being her family members, her past boyfriend, Mickey Smith, the Doctor and Captain Jack Harkness, and will do anything to protect them as she is able. Her physical strength is not as great as it would be for others but that does not mean she won't fight and do anything that she is capable of to prevent harm from coming to those she values, and to the world around her.
